The ITFLOWS project is pleased to announce that its researchers Dr. Asli Okyay (IAI) and Dr. Elena Sánchez (UAB) have recently joined the Migration Task Force of Think20. Think20 operates as an official engagement entity with G20 leaders, serving as an ideas platform: it brings together prominent think tanks and research centres throughout the world to offer research-based policy recommendations for the G20 forum. With particular emphasis on the effects of the COVID-19 crisis, the working group studies policy areas including labour market integration and social inclusion of migrants and refugees, as well as migrant and refugee access to basic services. These important research themes are also the focus of ITFLOWS Work Package 4, as part of the overall project aim to improve migration management. To learn more about the Task Force, click here.
