Rosalina Todorova from the Center for the Study of Democracy (CSD) presented the ITFLOWS project at the XXI Summer Seminar for Young Public Policy Professionals, held in Albena, Bulgaria between September 6 and September 11, 2021. Organised by the Economic Policy Institute, Sofia, the Seminar explored Post-COVID Recovery Scenarios for Central and South-Eastern Europe.
The Seminar provided a platform for lectures and discussions among young policy-makers and institutional representatives from Eastern Europe with a special focus on the Western Balkans. Workshops were held to explore the future of the EU and its prospects in facing the post-pandemic challenges and the emerging humanitarian crisis from the expected migration flows into Western Europe. Bridging the gaps in national and regional policies and local challenges set the perspective to tackling migration through the lens of accepting societies and economies in recovery.
