ITFLOWS Project presented at the 12th OECD Annual Conference on Migration

On December 12 and 13, Konstantin Boss (UAB) presented the ITFLOWS project during the12th Annual Conference on “Immigration in OECD Countries”, held at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris.

The conference examined the economic aspects of international migration in OECD countries by mapping the migratory flows and analyzing their socio-economic determinants and consequences. Topics of interest included, among others, the determinants of immigration to the OECD, the political economy of immigration, its labor market and public finance effects, as well as migrants and refugees social, political and economic integration.

Konstantin explained the use of Google Trends data to predict bilateral refugee flows and how the UAB team implemented that within the ITFLOWS Project.
