Ultimately aids ITFLOWS in identifying relevant knowledge gaps in migration policy, as well as in facilitating a productive exchange between research and policy.
The Policy Working Group (PWG)
The group helps in: identifying opportunities to inform policy on pressing issues in the migration field; supporting ITFLOWS partners in translating research results to policy; engaging with policy makers to identify ITFLOWS research needs; encouraging ITFLOWS to fill gaps between knowledge and policy; and validating reports and policy output resulting from the project. The ITFLOWS project is fortunate to collaborate with the Spanish Government, the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), the Danish Refugee Council, the International Organization for Migration’s Global Migration Data Analysis Center (GMDAC), and the European Union Agency for Asylum.
